pretty picture postcard.....

This weeks ppp had to be this one..... was driving along.... on the road between Blenheim and Nelson - totally the middle of nowhere. It's a windy, hilly trip, and there was the tree. All nicely decorated. It took me a while to find somewhere for me to turn around and get back to it to snap the picture.
I thought it was gorgeous! :)

Tab ~ no idea why you can't see it, when I can?!
Your missing the Christmas tree in the middle of nowhere. It was a cute little one with red bows, and silver garland. hehe.
Just emailed you, with some other pics.
Hopefully we'll catch up before Christmas! :)

Love and hugs

This so makes me wonder what and who was behind the decorations. Could someone have lost a loved one in a wreck at that location on the highway - at Christmas?

How about this - someone with children broke down at that spot and the Mum got the kids to decorate the tree while Dad was repairing the vehicle - or vice-versa.

Maybe it was decorated by the animals so as to make pictures of travelers as they stopped to make photos of the tree. :) ec

Jayleigh ~ not a great pic - but I loved the concept of a random tree being decorated for people like me to smile. Had to share it.
Meanwhile... sweetest... thanks! :)
I love the way God just brings along the right people at the right times.... makes the journey much sweeter.

Mr Eddie ~ I pass an awful lot of crosses when I'm driving around the country - and there seem to be more flowers at the crosses at this time of year. No cross here though.
I like your little theories though. It's the kind of thing I would make my kids (if I had any) do. I'll have to remember to keep some tinsel and red bows in my car at all times. hehehe.

Ohhh!!! Thank you thank you thank you for the beautiful card and little calendar. I cracked up when July was a snow covered field!

And! You have exquisite penmanship. No kidding.

Jayleigh ~ so glad it got there, and before Christmas! :)
I forgot about the whole backwards season thing.... oh well, you can look and know how I'll be feeling, while you are baking I'll be wrapped up in my woolies. hehehe.

Nice tree idea.

I don't see anything wrong with wanting to think cool in summer n warm in winter, call it a "wishful thinking" calendar!

Snaggle tooth ~ What a great name for the calendar! :)

And yes... I liked the whole idea of a tree in the middle of nowhere.
