This time round......
to make me feel all grown up?
I got my first Jury Summons.
That's right folks. The week of February 13th, 2006 I've been summoned to attend as a juror at the Christchurch District Court. (of course my name was picked at random from the jury list... but still.)
Scary huh! hehe

I've been called about 10 times already. Usually here we just wait around all day, sit in court as they flip through papers n decide if they want you "in a jury chair" or not. Haven't heard a case yet.
Usually they pick names off the current voting list.

I'm so excited about it all... silly huh.
Got a txt from Mike this morning saying he was summoned as well... and a friend of his. So James goes the last week of Jan, I'm Feb and then Mike. Quite funny that they picked all three of us. :)
We must be a special bunch.
I'll be sure to post about it when it's all going on..... though juicy details will have to wait Miss Tab. :)
